Tony Bennett

Dr. Tony Bennett serves as the Superintendent of Public Instruction in Indiana.  During his first meeting, the State Board of Education approved reforms to facilitate student-centered learning and remove burdensome regulations.  Prior to his career in administration, Dr. Bennet served as a classroom science teacher for nine years.  Bennett received an Ed.D. and Indiana Superintendent's License from Spalding University, a Certification in Secondary Administration and Supervision, a Master of Science in Secondary Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Indiana University Southeast.  A native of Indiana, Bennett lives in Noblesville with his wife Tina, a former high school principal.
