Eva Moskowitz

Eva Moskowitz, a Harlem native and mother of three, is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Success Charter Network. In August 2006, Moskowitz founded Harlem Success Academy, hailed by NYC Schools Chancellor Joel Klein as “one of the best charter schools in the country,” and cited by NYC Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg for its “amazing performance.”
The New York Times ranked Harlem Success Academy #1 out of 3500 public schools in the New York State in math. Moskowitz has since opened six more Success Academies, which serve over 2500 children in Harlem and the South Bronx. A former New York City Council Member and Chair of the Council’s Education Committee, Moskowitz remains a forceful advocate for education.
