Kriner Cash

Dr. Kriner Cash is the Superintendent of Memphis City Schools.  As Superintendent of Tennessee’s largest school system, Dr. Cash has designed, with the School Board, strategic reform policy and initiatives in academic and business operations which have begun to transform the culture and performance in the Memphis City Schools. Previously, he served as the Chief of Accountability and System-wide Performance under Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent Rudy Crew.  His extensive work history shows a commitment to advocating for high quality education for all children.  Cash holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University, a master’s from Stanford University, and doctorate from the University of Massachusetts.
