Tony Alpert

Tony Alpert currently has the privilege of serving as Director of Assessment and Accountability for Oregon and overseeing its online computer adaptive test used for state and federal accountability.   He has been engaged as the Oregon's Assessment Director for over 4 years and has evaluated school effectiveness in various roles within the Oregon department of Education for over 10 years.  He currently also serves as a co-chair of the SMARTER Balanced Common Assessment Executive Board and a member of the U.S. Department of Education's Technical Advisory Committee.
