Jon Gubera

Jon spent the first 10 years of his professional life as a 6-12 teacher and administrator. He subsequently entered the policy world in 2009 as the Director for AP, IB and Dual Credit at the Indiana Department of Education. He build the first ever school-level statewide AP accountability model, and during his tenure Indiana had its highest ever one-year increase in student AP exam success. From 2010-11 he served as the Associate Commissioner for Policy at the Indiana Commission for Higher Education leading their college and career ready initiatives. He rejoined IDOE in 2011, now serving as the Chief Accountability Officer.
