Lizzette Gonzales Reynolds

Lizzette Reynolds is Deputy Commissioner for Policy and Programs at the Texas Education Agency (TEA). She manages the divisions of Standards and Programs, Assessment and Accountability, Educator Leadership and Quality and Accreditation and School Improvement. Lizzette has served in a number of capacities including Special Assistant in the Office of Legislation and Congressional Affairs, P-16 Liaison with TEA for the University of Texas System, Secretary's Regional Representative to Margret Spellings and Legislative Director for a Texas State Senator and then-Governor George Bush. Lizzette earned a Bachelor of Arts from Southwestern University. She is married to David Reynolds and has three children, Luke, Lilli and Joaquin.
