Phase 1
Phase 1 – Communicate early and frequently. While Common Core State Standards will not be implemented until 2014-15, it is important to start informing parents and preparing teachers and school leaders today with messages and resources.

Phase 2 – Equip and involve stakeholders. Set a tone of support.

Phase 3 – Prepare to respond. Communicate openly and accurately.
