A New Year’s Vision

As we embark on 2022, I begin at the axis of gratitude and hope. In the past months, my countless conversations with parents, policymakers and education leaders across the country keep reflecting a common theme: Opportunity.

That’s profoundly good news for students.

Following the challenging disruptions of the past two years, hundreds of visionary leaders see a better future rooted in transformation on the horizon, and an education system with countless opportunities ahead. These, I believe, are the most important steps that will guide us to a transformative space:

• Opportunity to expand options for all students, with ever-broadening access to a high-quality and fulfilling education.
• Opportunity to truly reimagine education and “learn anywhere,” with new and innovative models and individualized learning to keep every student on track to success.
• Opportunity to bridge the digital divide and connect every educator and student.
• Opportunity to focus on evident learning gaps in our education systems and take proven steps to close them.
• Opportunity to strengthen pathways into 21^st-century, higher-skill, higher-wage, in-demand jobs, connecting students with careers of the future.

It’s the backdrop of these five goals that ExcelinEd works to achieve to unlock opportunity and lifelong success for each and every child.

But we don’t do it alone. Progress isn’t possible without leaders and partners like you.
