Divya Sridhar is the Director of Digital Equity Policy for ExcelinEd.
Before joining ExcelinEd, Divya served five years as the Public Policy Advisor for the leading learning science publisher, McGraw-Hill. In this role, she developed and managed the company’s K-12 advocacy strategy relating to federal and state education policy work, including expanding efforts to increase access to education technology and digital learning for students. Prior to her time at McGraw-Hill, she served in numerous roles in the healthcare industry, working to revolutionize digital processes by supporting policy changes relating to broadband, health systems connectivity, telemedicine and other health IT. Divya’s areas of expertise include topics such as: district digital transformation and digital learning, educational equity and digital equity, interoperability, student data privacy and broadband/connectivity. Divya earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas A&M University and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from George Mason University. Divya lives with her husband and five-year-old daughter in New Jersey and enjoys hiking and traveling in her free time.
