Regional Advocacy Director – Gulf Coast

The Regional Advocacy Director (Director) promotes the Foundation’s signature and priority policies with state policymakers and in-state reform partners. The Director is responsible for legislative outreach, tracking legislation and communicating regularly with lawmakers, policymakers and state advocates regarding policies aligned with the Foundation’s reform agenda. The Director works to build relationships with state leaders and in-state partner organizations. The Director is also responsible for completing other interim projects, as necessary, which may include organizing or participating in state and national summits, developing communications resources and identifying scholars for the annual National Summit on Education Reform.

The Regional Advocacy Director (Director) promotes the Foundation’s signature and priority policies with state policymakers and in-state reform partners. Policy Director, Accountability

The Policy Director, Accountability assists with the data analysis, evaluation and supportive research needed for the Foundation’s accountability policies and positions. This position is on the forefront of current state and national school accountability policy development, implementation, and evaluation. Development of analysis and implication white papers, research papers and studies, summarizations of policies and legislation, and responses and testimony to pending legislation, rules, and policies are routinely expected drawing on Florida and federal history as well as content and policy knowledge.
