The Foundation for Excellence in Education (ExcelinEd) announces EdPalooza, the largest virtual convening of its kind for education leaders, policymakers, parents, practitioners and advocates who are focused on transforming education. The three-day event, December 1-3, 2020, will feature world–class speakers and a ”palooza” of interactive learning sessions and action-oriented workshops to address pandemic-induced—and persistent—obstacles faced by systems, schools and students.
Themes will highlight solutions that bridge the digital divide, close learning gaps, empower families with opportunities and strengthen pathways to college and career. Equally important will be strategies that reimagine learning and create an equitable education system for the 21st century.
“This year’s enormous challenges are sounding a call to action in education. From parents to policymakers, we’ve seen that industrial models no longer serve our children—and that the future of education has arrived. EdPalooza is where we’ll build the roadmap for that future, focused on quality, equity and opportunity for all. It’s a critically important goal in a critically important year, and we need to get it right.”
