Devin Babcock is the Managing Director, Advocacy. In this role, supports the Vice President of Advocacy in all aspects of state-level advocacy with governor’s offices, legislative offices, state departments of education and other education reform partners across the nation.
Devin most recently worked as the Policy Director, and then Chief of Staff, for the Ohio House of Representatives where he oversaw the Majority Caucus policy agenda and managed the day-to-day operations of the House’s staff. He also previously served as ExcelinEd’s Regional Advocacy Director for the Great Lakes region and as Assistant Policy Director to Ohio Governor Mike DeWine where he worked on K-12, higher education and workforce development priorities for the administration.
Devin is a proud Michigan native and earned his Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from Cedarville University. He lives in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife and children. They enjoy exploring local parks together.
