Jennifer Wagner is Vice President of Communications for ExcelinEd. She manages the marketing and communications team, which supports the organization’s policy and advocacy efforts and works with state and national partners to promote student-centered policy solutions.
Jennifer is a former Indianapolis Star reporter who has more than 20 years experience in state and federal government as well as running her own public relations firm. Prior to joining ExcelinEd, she served as Vice President of Communications for EdChoice, the nation’s oldest private school choice organization, and RISE INDY, an Indianapolis-based nonprofit focused on public school options.
Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington and a J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. She lives in Downtown Indianapolis with her husband, two children and two dogs.
