Molly Williams is the Director of State Communications for ExcelinEd. In this role, Molly serves as a partner with the policy and advocacy teams for planning and executing strategic communications that advance the organization’s public policy and advocacy work.
Prior to joining ExcelinEd, Molly served for six years at the Indiana Department of Education in a variety of roles including as the Director of Communications and External Affairs where she served the Secretary of Education, executive-level leadership and oversaw a statewide communications strategy. She began her career at Indiana University Indianapolis where she managed a team of graphic designers and communications initiatives across multiple academic units.
Molly is a proud lifelong Hoosier and earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Communications and Art History from Indiana University. She lives in Indianapolis with her fiancé, Billy, and three dogs.
